Time Track, February 2012
Coming up: What did I do with my computer in February?
I won't explain everything this time because I already did that last month.
Total computer runtime per day (on average)1: 9:02
Curiously a little more than in January, although I spent one day far away from my computer. Huh.
- Firefox: 4:11
- QuickTime Player: 37 minutes
- Adium: 34 minutes
- iTunes: 25 minutes
- Mail: 16 minutes
- TextEdit: 16 minutes
- Finder: 16 minutes
- XBMC: 16 minutes
I'm going to explain that, because it's a lot less than last month. Firstly, I set that up in January, so that took a lot of time - and secondly I actually prefer watching movies with QuickTime Player unless I need subtitles, due to XBMC's CPU intensiveness.
- Firefox Plugin Process: 13 minutes
Mostly Flash and a little Java, I reckon.
- TextWrangler: 11 minutes
- Alarm Clock: 10 minutes
Either I'm getting less lazy, or it could be because I used other means to get woken up on some days.
Also of note, I used my Notes app for a whole of 4 minutes per day this month.
1 All of them are per day and on average, so I'm not going to add it to each and every single one.
